Calvary Young Adults (CYA) is a ministry designed with all 18-25 year-olds in mind. This ministry is modeled after the first century church - the very group of believers- we find in the book of Acts. In Acts 2:42 we read that these believers “continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and in prayers.” My heart’s desire is that we do exactly that! That each one attending CYA would grow in the knowledge of the unsurpassing love of God. My prayer is that as we are equipped by the power of God’s Word each week, that we would then be prepared to reach out to the corrupt and dying world around us.
As we allow the Lord to transform our lives, we will discover a longing to see others come to know the Savior. Then, as we go out into the everyday reality of life, we’ll be ready to make Christ known to those who so desperately need the forgiveness, hope, peace, and joy that intimate relationship with Him alone can bring.
In addition to our weekly Tuesday night Bible studies, those of us involved with CYA have many opportunities to serve together through missions’ trips, community outreaches, and various events held at CCMV.
Please accept this invitation to come out and join us! Come fall more in love with Jesus! Come and see what God waits to do in you, and then through you - and then through all of us, together, as the body of Christ! We’d love to have you become a part of the amazing things God is doing!
